New Student and Family Welcome Reception
1:00 p.m. - 2:30 p.m.
Atrium & Prince George’s Room, Stamp Student Union

New spring residence hall students and their families are invited to join us for the spring welcome reception. You will meet staff and other new Terps and learn more about important university resources. New on-campus Terps will also complete the Dining Services biometric scan for dining hall access. Light refreshment and fun will be had!

Get your official welcome from your community team! Meet other new students and learn about the foundations of your residential building and community. Afterwards, you will go to dinner together at one of our wonderful dining halls.

Connect with your community with a variety of different social events! Each community will host its own experience, including games, karaoke, arts & crafts, and more. Look for more information about your community time and location either through your RA or promotions within your building.

Academic Success Workshop: Starting the Semester Off on the Right Foot

How did your fall semester go? Are you looking to have a strong(er) spring semester? Join us before The Chill Zone for reflection on your strengths and areas for improvement, learn about campus resources, and gain strategies for organization and time management. This session aims to help you get the spring semester started out on the right foot.

Connect with your fellow Terps and take a moment to refocus for the start of a new semester. Make your own bamboo plant and create personalized signs for your room. Bust out your best tunes with karaoke. Enjoy some light refreshments, games, and arts & crafts!
