Preparing for Move-in
- Pack belongings in boxes, totes, and bags, not loose.
- Bring plastic and umbrellas to cover your belongings in the event of rain.
- Bring an extra set of car keys, in case yours get locked inside the car.
- Wear comfortable clothes and shoes.
- Bring a cooler with bottled water, soft drinks, and snacks.
- Temperatures in the 90's and high humidity are common in College Park in late August, so dress accordingly and be sure to drink lots of water.
A limited number of our yellow moving carts will be available to support move-in for students and families who choose to use them.
