Beyond the Classroom
Beyond the Classroom is an interdisciplinary living-learning program for upper-level undergraduate students interested in:
- Internships related to local, national, and global issues.
- Meaningful and impactful social change.
- Leadership and advocacy for NPOs and NGOs.
- Civic engagement and community service.
- Researching solutions to real-world problems.
Beyond the Classroom has designated apartment units for program participants in Building 1. Program offices and program classes are also housed in Building 1. For additional information and application materials, please visit the Beyond the Classroom website.
As the nation’s first living-learning entrepreneurship program, Hinman CEOs is a groundbreaking initiative placing entrepreneurial students from all technical and non-technical academic disciplines in a unique community. Students live together, learn about entrepreneurship, and can launch new ventures. The mission of Hinman CEOs is to foster an entrepreneurial spirit, create a sense of community and cooperation, and develop ethical leaders.
