Graduate Coordinator for the Common Ground Multicultural Dialogue Program

The Common Ground Multicultural Dialogue Program in the Department of Resident Life provides opportunities for dialogue among students with different identities, views, and experiences. The program brings together diverse groups of 12 to 16 undergraduates to engage in peer-led, structured exploration of contemporary societal dilemmas that have important implications for twenty-first century U.S. multicultural society such as affirmative action, abortion, same-sex marriage, racial profiling, and immigration policy. The program design is deliberative and encourages an analytical approach to dialogue. (one opening)

Graduate Coordinator for Off-Campus Housing Services

The Graduate Coordinator provides leadership in department efforts to provide high-quality off-campus housing information and referral so students and other members of the University community can enjoy a positive off-campus living experience. The Graduate Coordinator serves as a vital member of a nine-person office staff team. Additionally, the Graduate Coordinator may provide administrative, organizational, and logistical support for programs and processes supported by the Coordinator of Off-Campus Housing Services and other staff within the Department of Resident Life. Graduate Coordinator for Rights & Responsibilities

The Graduate Coordinator provides procedural and administrative support for the Office of Rights and Responsibilities. Primarily, the position involves the coordination of Judicial Board Hearings, the tracking of incidents throughout the residence hall system, and compilation and presentation of reports addressing student behavior in the residence halls. The Graduate Coordinator will conduct Preliminary Interviews and Disciplinary Conferences as needed. Additionally s/he will share responsibility for handling disciplinary judicial activities for the Department of Resident Life. (two openings)

Graduate Coordinator for Staff Development & Services

The Graduate Coordinator (GC) provides significant leadership for the Graduate Assistant (GA) and Resident Assistant (RA) selection processes and assists in the planning, implementation, and evaluation of staff training for all levels of DRL staff. The Graduate Coordinator may also serves as an instructor for the RA class during the spring semester. (one opening)
